Voyage: Experience the William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings of Southeast Asia
Join us on a Voyage, see the stunning digital installation bringing to life a selection of botanical and zoological watercolours from the National Museum of Singapore’s William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings.
The collected works are animated in a flurry of paint splashes, morphing into surreal environments where vibrant plant and animal life flourish, highlighting the interconnectedness of Southeast Asian environments, the same wild spaces that some of the zoo’s most loved residents call home.

Head to Adelaide Zoo for a trip through 19th century Southeast Asia and experience the region’s lush flora and fauna as never before. General admission to this spectacular installation is free.
Run time is approximately 5 minutes. Each session has a maximum capacity so we recommend allowing time for a short wait if attending during busy periods.
Relaxed hour
Zoos SA is proud to present a Relaxed hour with reduced sound and number of people every Wednesday afternoon from 2 – 3pm.
We have also developed a Social Story to help children with autism understand what a visit to Voyage might be like!
