Naming announcement for otter pups

Our otter pups have been busy stealing the hearts of visitors and keepers alike over their first few months of life.

From their first health check to their first swims and all the milestones in between, it’s been SO special to watch them grow up.

Now, we’re pleased to announce our keepers have found the perfect names for our little duo. Introducing…Mali and Rama!

Keepers have christened the girl Mali, meaning Jasmine Flower, and the boy Rama, meaning king in Thai.

Here’s a little snippet of their first few months with parents Kalaya and Bao.

Aren’t they the sweetest family?
