Coronavirus (COVID 19) update on catering partners and animal experiences – 19 March

Our latest update includes details about our catering partners and the latest information regarding our animal experiences and behind-the-scenes tours.

Catering update

• From Friday 20th March Quality Catering will operate Fig Tree Café at Adelaide Zoo instead of Wisteria (until the end of April 2020). The Fig Tree Café will provide more opportunity for open air seating and assist in the recommendation of greater social distancing.
• All non-essential indoor gatherings for functions over 100 people have been either cancelled or postponed with our caterers.
• Non-essential outdoor gatherings that fit within the current recommendation of less than 500 people will continue, this includes wedding ceremonies (most under 100 people) that are scheduled in outdoor areas such as the central lawns, but with recommendations to clients regarding increasing the social distancing at these events.
• Our caterers across both sites have implemented additional hygiene practices.
• We will continue to be guided by the government and Health Department recommendations and continue to liaise with our catering partners on updates.
