The Illegal Wildlife Trade is a critical issue taking centre stage around the world. But did you know it is also happening in your backyard? 

The Wildlife Crime in our Backyard showcase invites you to join the fight against animal trafficking, hosted by the Wildlife Crime Research Hub in partnership with Adelaide Zoo.

Showcase highlights

Featuring research-driven insights from the Wildlife Crime Research Hub, award-winning photography from 2021 Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Adam Oswell, finalists of the Wildvoice Art competition, and exhibits from national conservation partners, the showcase highlights a global issue that hits close to home!

PLUS – Make a pledge to protect animals, including Adelaide Zoo’s beloved resident Shingleback Lizards!

Opening on the International Day for the Prevention of and Fight against Transnational Organised Crime, join us to help stop wildlife crime and keep animals safe where they belong – here in Australia.
