Adelaide Zoo

The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2025, Bridging Now to Next, reflects the ongoing connection between past, present and future. This is a time for growth, reflection, and commitment to walking together.

Zoos SA has established a vision for reconciliation and acknowledges the Country on which we stand always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

We collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through a number of conservation initiatives and look forward to continuing to build relationships with Kaurna and Ngarrindjeri peoples as the traditional custodians of the Country of our sites, Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park respectively.

Come along to enjoy some of the celebrations to commence National Reconciliation Week.
