Book Week Special Event
23 August 2025, 10am and 11.30am for a 12.30pm Parade at Adelaide Zoo.
For those parents who want to experience the magic of Book Week before their child starts school, come along to our A to Zoo: Wild About Books! special event.
Children and their caregivers will have the chance to dress up as their favourite animal or storybook character and join our joyful Adelaide Zoo Book Week Parade on the Central Lawn.
Participants can enjoy free face painting and take part in our specially themed A to Zoo session—featuring a wildlife-inspired story time, music and movement, a craft activity, and a meet-and-greet with a Goliath Stick Insect.
