An early morning jungle adventure

Rise & Roam is an exclusive early morning tour led by an expert Tour Host, offering the rare opportunity to experience Adelaide Zoo before it opens to the public. As the Zoo comes to life, discover some of its most iconic animals and hear the fascinating stories behind these extraordinary species.

Watch Sumatran Tigers make their morning entrance onto habitat, observe Komodo Dragons beginning their day, and hear the unmistakable calls of siamangs and white-cheeked gibbons echo through the treetops from the viewing platform, before arriving at the experience’s unforgettable highlight, the opportunity for an exclusive orangutan viewing.

As the orangutans enjoy their morning enrichment, and you enjoy your coffee and cake, the keeper will share fascinating insights into their behaviour, unique personalities and the conservation work helping protect them in the wild.
