Adelaide Zoo

Have an Egg-cellent Easter and School Holidays

Zoo goers will be treated to a special visitor over the Easter long weekend at Adelaide Zoo, the Haigh’s Easter Bilby.

With free chocolate eggs for all at both Adelaide and Monarto Zoos and the chance to get up close to some of the world’s most endangered animals, like the bilby, the zoo is the perfect destination to spend the Easter long weekend.

The autumn school holidays will continue the egg theme, with Cracked. Children will be invited from 11 – 26 April to crack the code on everything egg-related!

Participants will learn new and interesting facts about egg-laying creatures by following an activity booklet around each zoo. With the use of special red-reveal tables kids will uncover hidden answers.

Through their journey they’ll also enjoy additional keeper presentations, arts and craft activities (at Adelaide Zoo) as well as the chance to win some wild prizes.

Before leaving, visitors can collect a pair of special red-reveal glasses to take home, to challenge friends and family with their new egg knowledge.

Both zoos are open to the public every day of the year, including public holidays, making them the perfect destination to celebrate Easter and the school holidays.

With so much to do you’d better get cracking!
