Dr Zoo – Become a mini-vet these school holidays

Get your stethoscope ready and find out what the vets of Adelaide Zoo do each day with our ‘Dr Zoo’ themed holiday program.

Whether it’s treating animals, diagnosing problems or caring for pregnant animals, there’s always something new going on in the vet department.

There will be fun onsite activities such as art & craft on weekdays (excluding public holidays) between 10.00am – 2.00pm next to Natures Playground and two special shows for you and the whole family to enjoy!

Special shows:

Dr. Zoo Wildshow in Envirodome; daily at 11.15am

Animals add so much to our world. From goldfish to Golden Retrievers, they all need our care to live happy and healthy lives – and there’s lots of everyday things we can to do help them feel safe at the vet and happy in our homes. Join us at the  Dr. Zoo Wildshow to learn more about creature comforts for your favourite animal friend.

Dr Zoo Free Flight show on the Central Lawns; daily at 1.15pm

Birds brighten our days and fascinate us with their character and colour. But what happens when our feathered friends are feeling a bit off colour? We can use the most positive training tools to help them have the best vet visit possible. Come along to our Dr. Zoo free flight show to explore how you can make bird brains happy and keep feathers un-ruffled!

All this is free for members and included with zoo entry!

Adelaide Zoo school holidays are proudly supported by SA Water.
