Meet Damien Mander, a former Royal Australian Navy clearance diver and special operations sniper who risks his life to protect endangered species in southern Africa.
Damien is the founder of the International Anti Poaching Foundation is touring Australia and there are several opportunities to come and listen to his stories of Africa and his fight against rhino and elephant poachers.
On leaving Iraq in 2008, Damien used his life savings to found the IAPF. Dedicated to protecting rhinos and elephants from massacre by militant poaching operatives, the IAPF employs military technology and strategies to curb poaching and protect ecosystems that support a vast array of wildlife.
