Monarto Zoo offers ‘Zu-Fari’ ~ a ‘HANDS ON’ school holiday program that:

• immerses kids in a fun and exciting natural environment.
• offers close up encounters with animals, nature and people involved in zoos (ie. Keepers, Volunteers, Educators)
• raises awareness about conservation and the role of zoos
• offers opportunities to ask questions, make choices and take responsibility
• provides enjoyable memories and the building of long term positive attitudes about the environment and conservation.

With ‘hands on’ learning, kids don’t actually realise that they are learning, for their prime focus is the fun and unique experiences they are having. It is seeing, doing and feeling that they have made a difference.

Zu-Fari is far from just a fun day at an open range zoo. Behind the scenes holds many more insights to life than just looking at an animal up close. The safari tour is not about hopping on a bus but taking a global journey through the worlds deserts and grasslands and seeing ‘wild’ animals ‘wild’.

Zu-Fari is a constructive way to get kids outdoors and active, adding a sense of wonder, adventure and discovery to any school holiday.

Choose from two options:

• Board the Zu-Fari bus that picks up and drops off from Adelaide Zoo
  9-4pm $55 per day per person ($48 for Zoo Members)
• Meet and get picked up from Monarto Gatehouse
  10-3pm $45 per day per person ($38 for Zoo Members)
