As of July 2007 prices for entry to the Adelaide Zoo are as follows:

Education Price (when booked at least one week prior to visit through
the AZES)

• Child under 4:  free   
• Student (all ages): $7.00   
• Disadvantaged student* : $5.00
• Adults** : $17.00
  *Students from schools that have a disadvantaged school rating of Category 4 or under and country schools.
  **This is for extra adults, above the free student/adult ratio

We recommend that, for ease of organisation and optimum outcomes for the students, you stick to the recommend ratios.

• Junior Primary (Kindergarten - Yr2) 1 free adult per 5 children
• Primary (Yr. 3-7) 1 free adult per 10 children
• Secondary/Tertiary 1 free adult per 15 students
• Mix of primary ages 1 free adult per 8 children
• Vacation Care programs 1 free adult per 8 children

Extra adults above this ratio will need to pay $17 each for entry ($14 for concession card holders).
