Go behind the scenes with a Giant Panda Keeper and experience an unique opportunity to enter the Giant Panda headquarters to view Wang Wang & Funi.Learn about the bamboo grown especially for the Pandas, how it is prepared and how much is required.

Experience the Panda Forest before the zoo opens to the general public. Meet the Red Pandas and see the Keeper provide their morning feed before moving to the Giant Panda viewing area to see Wang Wang & Funi being released to their day exhibit.

Discover the secret world of Orangutans, Siamangs or other apes at Adelaide Zoo. Assist the Keeper in providing their daily treats and enrichment activities and releasing them to their night quarters.You will learn about some of these critically endangered species and how you can assist in conservation programs.

You will never get closer than this to some of the world's ultimate predators. The Big Cat Interactive experience varies daily and often includes feeding the Lions or close encounters with Sumatran Tigers and other zoo carnivores.

Visit the Sun Bears in their night quarters and assist the Keeper feed them breakfast! You will learn first hand about their plight in the wild before heading off to provide breakfast to the hungry Oriental Small-clawed Otters.

Spend a full day getting a taste of what a day in the life of Zookeeper is really like! You will meet and work with some of the many zoo animals throughout the day, waking the up in the morning and putting them to bed in the afternoon – you will never be this up close and personal!

Go behind the scenes with some incredible Australian native wildlife - meet Echidnas, Koalas, Tasmanian Devils and other unique Australia native animals. Experience the opportunity to get up close with the animals and assist the keeper in their daily feeding.

Adelaide Zoo has one of the largest zoo bird collections in Australia. Go behind the scenes and learn how the Keepers manage such a wide range of species from tiny finches to perky penguins and cranky cassowaries.

Come behind the scenes to meet Susie and Brutus, our enormous Nile Hippo pair. Assist the Keeper with their daily mouth check and feed them some Hippo snacks. You will also meet some of our many other zoo friends.

Spend half a day assisting the Children's Zoo Keeper with daily feeding requirements of the Children Zoo animals. Duties often include caring for Koalas, Bilbies, Reptiles, Goats, Rabbits & birds of prey - a fantastic way for the kids to experience a range of animals up close and personal. An encounter they will treasure for a lifetime!

Spend an hour up close and personal with a Zookeeper and the animals of the Children's Zoo and the Westpac Envirodome. Assist the Keepers in feeding and grooming a variety of animals which may include rabbits, goats, ferrets, bettongs, barn owls, seahorses and stick insects.
